Peterson wins Lloydminster PBR event

Lloydminster InvitationalLLOYDMINSTER, Saskatchewan (October 2, 2010) - A packed house watched North Dakota superstar Zac Peterson (Velva, ND) win big at the Lloydminster Invitational presented by SaskTel, the 7th stop on elite Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canadian Cup Series presented by Wrangler. Peterson was one of two riders to cover both of his bulls and walked away with $6,426.00.

In Round 1, Peterson rode Bad To The Bone (
Braithwaite Ranches) for 83.5 points followed by an 89.5 point ride on Evil Roy Slade (Skori Bucking Bulls) in the Championship Round.

Jason Finkbeiner (Wardlow, AB) was the second rider to go 2-for-2 and covered Hell Bent (Big Country Rodeo) in the Championship Round for 89.5 points to claim second place. Ending the night in third, Lloydminster’s own Nathan Roy covered Jonah The Whale (Lazy R) for 88.5 points in the Round 1 andadded $4,590.00 to his season earnings. Rounding out the top five at the Lloydminster Invitational presented by SaskTel were PBR superstars Dusty Ephrom (Arcola, SK) and
Brian Hervey (Brant, AB). Ephrom finished the evening in fourth and took home a total of $3,213.00 while Hervey claimed fifth and walked away $2,019.60.
