Bulls ready to buck at Bell Centre
One huge night of 8-second rides and heart-pounding wrecks hits Montreal
CALGARY, Alberta (March 9, 2011) - The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canadian Cup Series storms into Bell Centre for one non-stop, adrenaline-fueled night Saturday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $29, and can be purchased in person at the Bell Centre box office;online at www.evenko.ca; or by calling (877) 668-8269.
The Montreal Invitational presented by Festival Western de St-Tite will feature the top bull riders in Canada and the world battling the rankest bulls in the business. Scheduled to compete are Quebec natives Sylvain Champaign of Drummondville, Eric Isabelle of La Plaine and Rene Roy of Mascouche. Fans can also expect to see a large international presence that includes 2006 Mexican National Champion Rocky McDonald of Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua; five-time Build Ford Tough World Finals qualifier Matt Bohon of Cole Camp, Missouri; and Australian superstar Jared Farley of Kempsey, NSW, a three-time World Cup contender.
The action starts at 7:30 p.m. and will feature two hard-hitting rounds of competition. All 30 riders will compete in Round 1, with only the Top 12 advancing to the Championship showdown. The overall event winner will be the rider with the highest combined score after two rounds. Get ready to experience over two hours of edge-of-your-seat rides and jaw-dropping wrecks as the toughest athletes in sport take on the fiercest bucking bulls on the planet.
