MONTREAL, QC (March 31, 2012)– Australian bull riders took the top three spots at the PBR Montreal Invitational at Bell Centre this weekend.
The top score went to Lachlan Richardson from Cresford, NSW with an 82 point ride on Cheddar Bob (Mark Reed) in the Championship round. Richardson locked in the top score for a total combined score of 161 points.
Michael Paton of Grassy Nebo, QLD put up a good showing in Montreal by hanging onto 2 bulls and capturing 157 points for second place.
And Jared Farley of Kempsey, NSW tied with Chad Besplug of Claresholm, AB for the third place spot.
The crowd was on their feet for Ste. Madeline, Quebec native Nicholas Brien in the first round, who rode Super Trooper (J Bar W Ranch) for an 80 point score. Brien finished fifth overall followed by another Aussie, Jesse Van Nek from Rockhampton, QLD.
