DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – As the 2025 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada season continued Saturday night in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Weston Davidson (Strongfield, Saskatchewan) rode a cut above the rest, winning the Touring Pro Division’s PBR Dawson Creek inside Ovintiv Events Centre.

Davidson delivered the top marks of the one-round event, outlasting Kryptonite (Vold Rodeo) for 84.5 points.

Collecting 23 national points, Davidson rose from No. 6 to No. 4 in the early race for the 2025 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus, inching within 23.5 points of No. 1 Tyler Craig (Crossfield, Alberta).

Craig was shutout in British Columbia, bucked off by Red Coat (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle/Legend Rodeo Stock) in a close 6.37 seconds.

Courtesy of a double-entry Cody Coverchuk (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) registered a pair of second-place finishes, netting a combined 26 national points.

Making the requisite 8 twice for 84 points, the two-time PBR Canada Champion covered both Dream Living (Vold Rodeo/R Saga Ranch) and Po Dunk (Vold Rodeo).

Chasing his record tying third national title this season, Coverchuk rose from No. 8 to No. 5 in Canada. He now trails No. 1 Craig by 24.5 national points.

Dawson Creek’s own Auzyn Corr (Dawson Creek, British Columbia) also tied for second, garnering 13 national points for his 84-point ride on Wacky Mojo (Lazy P Rodeo).

Unranked prior to the event, Corr is now No. 9 in Canada, 49 points back of the top spot in the standings.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Eric O’Flynn (Quesnell, British Columbia), topping Santana (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle) for 82.5 points.

O’Flynn also parlayed his double entry into an additional eighth-place finish, registering his second qualified ride in as many attempts when he bested Lord Fear (Vold Rodeo) for 80 points.

The home province hopeful returned to Quesnell having earned 17 national points. He rose one position in the Canadian standings climbing from No. 4 to No. 3, propelled within 15.5 points of No. 1 Craig.

In the bull pen, Halos Iron Hide (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle/Legend Rodeo Stock) bucked supreme, crowned the Bull of the Event. The powerful animal athlete was marked 43 points for his 2.11 seconds of work against Braxton Rowe (Worsley, Alberta).
