KELOWNA, B.C. – For the fifth consecutive season, and sixth time in history, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Cup Series will buck into Kelowna, British Columbia, holding the PBR Okanagan Challenge, presented by Dirty Diesel Customs, at Prospera Place on July 16, 2026.

PBR Canada’s Cup Series, which set tour records in eleven cities in 2025, welcoming more than 75,000 fans, regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the organization’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation.

The PBR Okanagan Challenge, presented by Dirty Diesel Customs, will have added significance as the lone PBR Canada Cup Series event in British Columbia during the 2026 individual season.

For one night only, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 1,800-pound opponents born to buck.

The PBR Okanagan Challenge, presented by Dirty Diesel Customs, will mark the seventh event of the 2026 regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series.

When the Cup Series last travelled to Kelowna in July 2025, Garrett Green (Meeting Creek, Alberta) showed up and showed out going a perfect 2-for-2 to win the sold-out tour stop and crack the then Top 5 in the national standings.

As competition got underway inside Prosper Place, Green first took on Jingle and Go (Wilson Rodeo), marked a round-winning 83.5 points.

With the first pick in the championship round bull draft, Green elected to go head-to-head with Stray Bucks (S&M Bucking Bulls). A decision which proved dividends, Green rode the bull for an event-best 88 points to cement his win.

Green left British Columbia having earned 136 national points. He rose from a then No. 6 to No. 4 in the race for the 2025 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus.

Other past PBR Canada Cup Series event winners in Kelowna are: Jared Parsonage (2024 – Maple Creek, Saskatchewan); Wyatt Gleeson (2023 – Sundre, Alberta); Brock Radford (2022 – De Winton, Alberta); and Lachlan Richardson (2018 – Gresford, New South Wales, Australia).

The bull riding action for 2026 PBR Canada Cup Series’ Okanagan Challenge, presented by Dirty Diesel Customs, begins at 7:00 p.m. PT on Thursday, July 16.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. PST, and start at $35, standard ticketing fees may apply. They can be purchased at the Prospera Place Box Office, by phone at (250) 762-5050 or online at SelectYourTickets.com.
