PBR Canada’s Elite Cup Series Returns to Medicine Hat, Alberta, For Sixth Time in History October 17, 2026

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. – For the sixth time in history, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Cup Series will buck into Medicine Hat, Alberta, holding the PBR Medicine Hat Classic at Co-op Place on October 17, 2026.

PBR Canada’s Cup Series, which set tour records in eleven cities in 2025, welcoming more than 75,000 fans, regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the organization’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation.

For one night only, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 1,800-pound opponents born to buck.

The PBR Medicine Hat Classic will mark the ninth event of the 2026 regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series.

When the Cup Series last travelled to Medicine Hat in October 2025, welcoming a record-setting crowd, Australian sensation Callum Miller (Warwick, Queensland, Australia) dominated, going a perfect 2-for-2 to win the event and  cracking the then Top 15 in the race for the 2025 Canadian Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus.

Miller was sensational in Round 1, posting the top score when he outlasted Black Mamba (Lazy P Rodeo) for 86.5 points. With the first pick in the championship round bull draft, Miller than elected to go head-to-head with Get Rhythm (Skori Bucking Bulls). Proving to be a perfect pairing, Miller was a near picture of perfection atop the powerful animal athlete, reaching the whistle for an event-best, and victory-clinching 89 points.

Courtesy of the golden finish, Miller earned a critical 136 national points. He climbed from No. 28 to a then No. 13 in Canada.

Other past PBR Canada Cup Series event winners in Medicine Hat are: Nick Tetz (2024 – Calgary, Alberta); Jordan Hansen (2023 – Amisk, Alberta); Brock Radford (2022 – De Winton, Alberta); and Zane Lambert (2021 – Ponoka, Alberta).

The bull riding action for 2026 PBR Canada Cup Series’ Medicine Hat Classic, begins at 7:00 p.m. MT on Saturday, October 17.
