SASKATOON, Sask. – For the 25th time in history, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada will buck into Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as the elite Cup Series takes over SaskTel Centre for two nights of competition on October 23-24, 2026 for the PBR Saskatoon Classic, presented by Redhead Equipment and Case IH.

PBR Canada’s Cup Series, which set tour records in eleven cities in 2025, welcoming more than 75,000 fans, regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the organization’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation.

The PBR Saskatoon Classic will have added significance as the lone PBR Canada Cup Series event in Saskatchewan during the 2026 individual season.

For two nights only, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 1,800-pound opponents born to buck.

The PBR Saskatoon Classic, presented by Redhead Equipment and Case IH, will mark the tenth and final event of the 2026 regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series.

When the Cup Series last travelled to Saskatoon in October 2025, Saskatchewan’s own Jared Parsonage (Maple Creek, Saskatchewan) showed up and showed out in front of the record-setting crowd inside SaskTel Centre, going a flawless 3-for-3 to win the tour stop and overtake the then No. 1 rank in the race for the 2025 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus.

Parsonage first converted in the opening round when he logged the fifth-best score as he went the distance on Wild Time (Vold Rodeo) for 84.5 points. He then climbed the leaderboard when he tied for the Round 2 victory, covering Linebacker (Skori Bucking Bulls) for 86.5 points.

Parsonage then elected to go head-to-head with Moonwalk (Thompson Rodeo Livestock), a top contender in the race for the 2025 Canadian Global Bull of the Year title, in the championship round. Continuing to ride in red-hot form, Parsonage conquered the bovine athlete for an event best 89 points to cement the win.

Courtesy of the win, Parsonage earned a crucial 240 national points. He surged from No. 3 to No. 1 in the PBR Canada Championship race, propelled 70 points ahead of new No. 2 Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan).

The bull riding action for the 2026 PBR Canada Cup Series’ Saskatoon Classic, presented by Redhead Equipment and Case IH, begins at 7:00 p.m. CST on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. CST, and start at $30, standard ticketing fees may apply, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.ca. Fans who purchase tickets for both event nights will receive a 15% discount.
