Australian Sensation Macaulie Leather Wins Fourth Night of PBR Canada Touring Pro Division’s Cody Snyder Charity Bullbustin’

CALGARY, Alta. –  On the penultimate night of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada Touring Pro Division’s Cody Snyder Charity Bullbustin’ in Calgary, Alberta, Australian sensation Macaulie Leather (Calliope, Queensland, Australia) rode in dominant form, winning the event and cracking into the Top 25 in the race for the season’s Canadian Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus.

Fresh off a fourth-place finish the night before, Leather took to the chutes ready to climb aboard Wizkid (Foley Bucking Bulls). Nodding with confidence, Leather remained in perfect time with the powerful animal athlete, reaching the requisite 8 for an event-best 87.5 points.

The golden finish garnered Leather a crucial 88 national points. He rose from No. 37 to No. 25 in the race for the 2026 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus.

Griffin Koester (Rockyford, Alberta) was second, netting 58 national points.

The home province hopeful secured the podium finish for his 86.6-point effort aboard Slingin Stones (Lazy P Rodeo).

Koester climbed from No. 9 to No. 7 in the Canadian standings, propelled within 661.83 points of No. 1 Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta).

Tetz was in competition Friday evening, however, was unable to grow his lead atop the standings after being tossed by Sign The Cheque (MT Bar Bucking Bulls) in 5.62 seconds.

Returning to the top of the event leaderboard, Chase Switzer (Hazenmore, Saskatchewan) was third.

Switzer outlasted Woozy (Foley Bucking Bulls) for 85.1 points to collect 44 national points. Chasing his first PBR Canada Championship this November, Switzer rose from No. 17 to No. 13 in the national standings.

Jack Mitchell (Weatherford, Texas) covered Pyper (Foley Bucking Bulls) for 84.7 points to finish fourth and earn 29 national points. He climbed from No. 43 to No. 31 in the national standings.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was three-time PBR Canada Champion Aaron Roy (Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan).

The veteran contender rode Sippin Tequila (Lazy P Rodeo) for 84.6 points, taking home 25 national points.

On the hunt for his unprecedented fourth national title this November, Roy gained one position in the national standings, climbing from No. 11 to No. 10 in Canada. He’s now 716.83 points behind No. 1 Tetz.

In the bull pen, Free Willie (CS Bucking Bulls) bucked supreme, crowned the Bull of the Event. The animal athlete was marked an unmatched 43.9 points for his 2.72 seconds of work against Tyler Villarreal (Foxholm, North Dakota).
