OTTAWA, Ont. – In front of a record-setting crowd in Ottawa, Ontario, Saturday evening, Tanner Eno (Coronation, Alberta) reached a crucial career milestone, going a perfect 2-for-2 to win his career first PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada Cup Series event, victorious at the PBR Ottawa Classic inside the Canadian Tire Centre.
The 2026 PBR Ottawa Classic played host to the largest single-night crowd in the history of PBR Canada, with more than 10,100 watching on inside the Canadian Tire Centre.
As action got underway, Eno got off to an electric start, winning Round 1 via an 85.6-point ride aboard Poor Boys Pistol Grip (Legend Rodeo).
With the first pick in the championship round bull draft, Eno then elected to go head-to-head with Stray Bucks (S&M Bucking Bulls). Nodding with confidence, Eno burst from the chutes inside the home of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, remining in perfect time with the powerful animal athlete en route to the requisite 8. Marked 87.9 points, the qualified ride was enough to clinch the victory for Eno.
The win is Eno’s career-first on the elite Cup Series and his third across all levels of PBR competition. He last won at the July 2025 Touring Pro Division event in Kinsella, Alberta.
Leaving Canada’s capital city with a crucial 126 national points, Eno surged from No. 27 to No. 11 in the intensifying race for the 2026 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus. He now trails No. 1 Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta) by 557.83 points.
Tetz went 1-for-2 to finish eighth, collecting 17 national points. After riding Chit Chat (Outlaw Buckers Rodeo Corp.) for 83 points in the opening round, the Arizona Ridge Riders’ Tetz was uncharacteristically bucked off by Day Thuggin (S&M Bucking Bulls) in 5.68 seconds in the final round.
Remaining No. 1 in Canada, Tetz now leads No. 2 Gilmar Santana (Ouro Preto, Brazil) by 336.83 points.
Santana delivered a 1-for-2 showing of his own to finish sixth and earn 29 national points. Attempting to become the first Brazilian in history to be crowned the PBR Canada Champion, Santana rode Rattle Bones (CJ Bucking Bulls) for 85 points in Round 1, only to be tossed by Affairs In Order (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) in 5.09 seconds in the championship round.
Returning to the top of the event leaderboard, veteran contender Jordan Hansen (Amisk, Alberta) was second, garnering 93 national points.
Hansen first put points on the board in Round 1 when he outlasted Says Who (Thompson Rodeo/K Rose Ranch) for 84.5 points. The reserved Albertan then delivered the high-marked ride of the PBR Ottawa Classic when he teamed with reigning PBR Canada Bull of the Year Moonwalk (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) for an 88.7-point score.
During the out, Moonwalk was marked an unrivaled 43.3 points to be crowned the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event. The top marks were a PBR Canada-best fourth time this season Moonwalk had been crowned Bull of the Event, and allowed him to complete a perfect sweep of the award at the three Cup Series events held in Ontario for the 2026 season.
Chasing his first PBR Canada Championship at season’s end, Hansen rose from No. 22 to No. 8 in the national standings, propelled within 547.33 points of No. 1 Tetz.
Two-time PBR Canada Champion Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan) was third.
Buttar collected 71 national points for his 85.2-point ride on Write This Down (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) from Round 1, and 87.2-point effort aboard Joker On A Jack (Thompson Rodeo/K Rose Ranch) in the championship round.
In the standings, Buttar rose three positions, climbing from No. 7 to No. 4. He is now 431.33 points removed from the top spot.
Jayden Roy (Mascouche, Quebec) was fourth.
The surging 18-year-old, who was recently drafted by the Nashville Stampede ahead of the 2026 PBR Teams season, rode A List (Legend Rodeo) for 83.9 points in Round 1 to advance to the championship round. He then covered Up Roar (S&M Bucking Bulls) for 86.9 points to complete his perfect outing at the PBR Ottawa Classic.
Collecting 50 national points, Roy rose from No. 18 to No. 10 in Canada. He is now 557.33 points behind No. 1 Tetz.
Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Texas Rattler Daniel Keeping (Montague, Texas), garnering 48 national points.
As the final rider to cover both of his animal athlete opponents in Ottawa, Keeping rode Smudge (CJ Bucking Bulls) for 84.9 points in Round 1 and Ariel Assault (CJ Bucking Bulls) for 83.1 points in the championship round.
Unranked prior to the event, Keeping is now tied for the No. 28 rank in Canada.
Following a one-month break, the 2026 PBR Canada Sup Series will next travel to Kelowna, British Columbia, and Prospera Place for the PBR Okanagan Challenge on Thursday, July 16. Action will get underway at 7 p.m. PT. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Prospera Place Box Office, by phone at (250) 762-5050 or online at SelectYourTickets.com.
