SASKATOON, Sask. – Saturday night, SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, played host to a historic night of bull riding. As the 25th anniversary of PBR (Professional Bull Riders) action in Saskatoon wound to a close, the evening’s competition featured three 90-point rides and the clinching of the regular-season No. 1 rank as the battle for the 2026 PBR Canada Championship winds to a close. When the dust settled, Marshall Senger (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) reached a career-milestone, securing his first-ever Cup Series win with a monster 90-point ride, victorious at the PBR Saskatoon Classic, presented by Redhead Equipment and Case IH.

Senger’s march to victory began in Round 1 when he delivered the second-best score, covering Twisted Logic (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) for 87.4 points.

In the second round, the home province hopeful then took on Snoopy (Skori Bucking Bulls). The two teamed for an 85.8-point score, punching Senger’s ticket to the championship round.

For his final animal athlete opponent inside SaskTel Centre, Senger elected to go head-to-head with Bench Warrant (C5 Rodeo). Nodding with confidence, Senger burst from the chutes, remaining in perfect time with the bull en route to the whistle, marked a commanding 90.8 points.

As the only rider to conclude the event a perfect 3-for-3, the score clinched Senger his career-first win on the elite Cup Series, and just second of his career across all levels of PBR competition.

Courtesy of the golden showing, Senger earned a crucial 133 national points. He surged from No. 15 to No. 10 in the national standings, now 995.83 points behind No. 1 Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta).

Tetz clinched the regular-season No. 1 rank in Saskatoon via his tenth-place effort. Going 1-for-2, Tetz rebounded from a 1.88-second buckoff dealt to him by One Spot (MT Bar Bucking Bulls) in Round 1 with an 83.9-point score aboard Pyper (Foley Bucking Bulls) in Round 2.

The Albertan sensation and rider for the Arizona Ridge Riders is now guaranteed to begin the 2026 PBR Canada National Finals in Edmonton, Alberta, on Nov. 13-14 as the No. 1 ranked rider in the nation as he chases his record-tying third PBR Canada Championship.

Returning to the top of the leaderboard, Jeremy Maisonneuve (Val-des-monts, Quebec) went 2-for-3, registering the high-marked ride of the season to conclude the PBR Saskatoon Classic second.

Maisonneuve began the event on shaky ground, bested by Dark Side (Kinky Buckers) in a close 5.59 seconds. The 19-year-old, however, was quick to rebound, topping Blood Creek (Outlaw Buckers Rodeo Corp.) for a Round 2-best 88.5 points.

Ahead of the championship round, Maisonneuve selected Shaboozie (C5 Rodeo). In what proved to be a perfect airing, the two delivered a near picture-perfect ride as the raucous crowd erupted in cheer is the whistle burst. With the crowd on its feet, Maisonneuve was awarded a mammoth 92.1 points, the high-marked ride on Canadian soil to date in 2026.

Leaving Saskatoon with 107 national points, the young gun rose from No. 10 to No. 7 in the national standings, assuming the top position in the race for the season’s Rookie of the Year honor. Locked in a title battle with Jayden Roy (Mascouche, Quebec), Maisonneuve now leads his fellow Quebecer by 41.5 points.

Roy, a member of the Nashville Stampede in the PBR Teams league, is currently ranked No. 9 in the Canadian standings after being shutout in Saskatoon, going 0-for-2.

Austin Paley (Beverlodge, Alberta) delivered a break-through performance at the Cup Series’ final regular-season event, adding his statement ride to the night of 90s en route to a third-place finish.

Much like Maisonneuve, Paley began his time in Saskatoon short of the requisite 8, bested by Triple B Cranes Buster (Vold Rodeo) in 7.21 seconds.

Down but not out, Paley came back with a vengeance in Round 2, advancing to the championship round after riding Pay Day (Skori Bucking Bulls) for 85.1 points.

In the final round, Paley was electric, covering Posty (Foley Bucking Bulls) for a dominant 91.6 points to cement his career-best finish on the Cup Series.

Garnering 71 national points for his podium finish, Paley rose from No. 28 to No. 21 in Canada. He now trails the Top 18 and a berth to the PBR Canada National Finals by 79.33 points.

Lonnie West (Cadogan, Alberta) was fourth, collecting 55 national points.

After bucking off Holy Smokes (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) in 3.28 seconds in Round 1, West’s hopes of victory were kept alive in the second round when he outlasted Bojangles (Skori Bucking Bulls) for 86.7 points.

West then punctuated his efforts with and 89.2-point score on Night Fury (Skori Bucking Bulls) in the championship round.

In the national standings, West remained No. 11.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Jordan Hansen (Amisk, Alberta).

Hansen’s 2-for-3 showing included an 83.5-point ride on Glory Days (Eno Bucking Bulls) in Round 2, and 88.8-point effort on SweetPro Choices (Eno Bucking Bulls) in the final round.

The veteran contender netted 44 national points, remaining No. 8 in Canada.

In the bull pen, Shaboozie and Posty bucked supreme, tying for the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event honor. Both bulls were awarded a head-turning 44.4 points during their 90-point outings in the championship round.

Following a three-week break, the 2026 PBR Canada season will conclude in Edmonton, Alberta for the Command Tubular PBR Canada National Finals, presented by Edmonton’s Best Hotels, when the 2026 PBR Canada Champion will be crowned, earning the accompanying $100,000 bonus. Action for the year-end event inside Rogers Place will get underway at 7:00 p.m. MT on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14.
