OTTAWA, Ont. – Rolling into the third and final stop of the eastern run on the PBR Canada Cup Series. We're looking for a lot of the same thing we've seen the last two weeks. That's an electric crowd. A lot of good bull rides, wild bulls, and a ton of action.

Ottawa is always a fun one in the capital. Everyone's looking forward to getting back out east and putting on a good show.

Looks like a lot of the same bulls that we've seen at the last two events. Some of the bulls are from out east as well as the trailer load that came from the west, and we've seen a lot of rides. We've seen guys stay on these bulls, they know what they're all about. Quite a few in the pen that the guys like to get on. Look for a lot of rides this weekend. Let me just get them a note quick here.

Cauy Schmidt, Gilmar Santana, Francisco Costa, Jaden Roy, you're going to see a lot of rides from guys like that.

Below are my bets for Round 1 of the event from Ottawa. Let us know your thoughts and your picks for the Cup Series event by tagging @PBRCanada on X.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Canadian Tire Centre Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.ca.

Cody Coverchuk vs. Dream Living

This is a rematch for Coverchuk. Great bull, out of the right, one that should fit Coverchuk’s style really well, he's been 84 on him. Look for that same thing here. Coverchuk needs to turn things around here and get on the heater that we all know that that he can get on and get himself up in that championship race. This will be the bull to do it on, get a good score. get a good pick in that short round and try to win the last eastern event.

Dakota Buttar vs. Write This Down

Another rematch here for the wily veteran Dakota Buttar. He's been having success. He's been riding really well and look for him to do the same thing here. They were matched up for an 86.5-point ride last time, and I think we're going to do that exact same thing here. Same thing as Coverchuk. Set himself up good in the Top 5 to get a good pick to try to win Ottawa.

Nick Tetz vs. Chit Chat

This is a bull that Nick that's knows. He’s a muley that is out of the left and around to the left. We’ve seen him a few times out there. Looks like he might have a little bit of tricks to him, but I don't think it's anything that's going to hinder Tetz. He should sit up there, get his feet moving on this one. We could see a round win here of an 86-87-point ride for Tetz.

Eric O’Flynn vs. Rock Steady

Eric is coming back from injury. He’s a young guy out of British Columbia that shows a lot of talent, a lot of try, and he's got a lot of ability, Rolls with Jake Gardner quite a bit, and I think Jake seems to be rubbing off on Eric as well. Eric’s really stepped up this year and riding better than I've ever seen him do, and this is a great matchup for him in Rock Steady. He is a black, horned bull, from Nansen Vold. In the gate to the right, sucks back a little bit, should fit Eric’s style really, really well. They haven't got along with him very much this year as compared to last year, but I don't see that hindering Eric one bit. I think he has a chance to get a great score with an 86-87 to try to get his first event win on the Cup series.
