PBR Renews Broadcast Partnership with TSN for 2025-26 Seasons

SASKATOON, Sask. – PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada has extended its broadcast agreement with TSN for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
In 2025, for the eighth consecutive year, TSN will deliver more than 30 weeks of PBR programming, bringing viewers highlight specials from both the elite PBR Canada Cup Series, and groundbreaking PBR Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, which competes in the U.S. within the Unleash The Beast tour.
“For more than seven years, TSN has been an instrumental partner for PBR, helping to take the sport of bull riding to new heights in Canada,” said Jason Davidson, General Manager of PBR Canada. “Last season alone, PBR Canada’s elite Cup Series not only witnessed explosive growth in arenas across the country, setting numerous records, and selling out nearly every tour stop, but also through our increased viewership for our broadcasts. TSN remains the perfect home for Canadian viewers to continue to watch the enthralling competition as PBR Canada celebrates the 10th anniversary season for the elite Cup Series in 2025.”
The 2025 lineup of programming will begin on March 12 with the first broadcast of the 2025 PBR Canada Cup Series, recapping all the action from the season-launch event in Red Deer, Alberta.
Programming will continue on March 19 and March 26 as viewers relive the Cup Series’ two-day event in Lethbridge, Alberta, through a two-part recap.
The subsequent eight weeks of coverage from April 2-May 28 will televise the Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World. The Monster Energy Team Challenge, is a PBR Teams showcase, featuring head-to-head, team vs. team rivalry bull riding games amongst the league’s 10 teams.
PBR Canada Cup Series coverage will return on June 4 and June 11 with a one-hour specials from the tour stop in Brandon, Manitoba, followed by recaps of the London, Ontario event on June 18 and June 25, and the Ottawa, Ontario event on July 2.
Following two weeks of Monster Energy Team Challenge programming, viewers will be brought the sixth Canadian event of the season on July 30 from Kelowna, British Columbia.
Viewers will then be brought the final Monster Energy Team Challenge games of the season from August 6-August 27. The summer lineup of competition will then feature two, two-hour episodes documenting the PBR World Finals, showcasing the culmination of the race for the 2025 PBR World Championship, and accompanying $1 million bonus, on Sept. 10 and Sept. 17.
The season’s programming will conclude with seven weeks of Canadian programming.
On October 8 viewers will be brought all the action from Grande Prairie, Alberta, followed by Medicine Hat, Alberta, on October 29.
TSN will then televise a two-part recap from the final regular-season event of the year in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on November 5 and November 12.
Viewers will then be brought a two-part, three-hour PBR Canada National Finals special on November 19 and 26, documenting the final rounds in the race for the 2025 PBR Canada Championship and $100,000 bonus.
The 2025 slate of programming will then conclude with a one-hour, year in review highlight special, airing in December.
